500 plants in the ground at the Waikanae Estuary today 🌱
Earlier this year, we joined the Adopt-a-Plot programme and committed to looking after a little piece of the estuary, and today the Elite team got stuck into planting our plot.
It was a pretty good way to spend a Saturday morning. 500 native plants planted, protected from the wind and fertilised.
We’re lucky to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country, and we think being a local business should mean contributing to the community you’re part of…not just putting your logo on things.
This is one of those projects where we’ll actually get to watch the difference over time, and we’re looking forward to seeing our little patch of the estuary grow.
