A small wiring fault can cause some very strange problems! This vehicle came in with an interior light that wouldn’t switch off even when the driver’s door was firmly closed.
After some investigating, we found damaged wiring inside the driver’s door hinge loom. The damaged wires were causing the vehicle to think the door was still open, keeping the interior light on and potentially draining the battery. 🔋
A good reminder that electrical faults aren’t always obvious! If your vehicle is doing something unusual, it’s worth getting it checked before a small wiring issue turns into a bigger problem.
