Digital & Technical Assistant | Full-Time
Southern Jet is growing, and we're looking for someone to join our team in a new, predominantly office-based position!
We're after someone who's confident with computers, enjoys technology and has a genuine willingness to learn.
This is a varied role covering everything from website management and social media through to sales support, with the opportunity to progress into CAD design and other technical work in the future.
What's involved?
Website updates, improvements and management
Social media content creation and marketing
Sales support and customer enquiries
Product listings and information management
Researching new software, systems and ways to improve our business
General office and computer-based tasks
Opportunities to learn CAD design and technical work as the role develops
Who are we looking for?
We're not overly concerned about qualifications or previous experience. We're much more interested in your skills, attitude and willingness to learn!
The ideal person will:
Be confident using computers and learning new software
Have good problem-solving skills
Be capable of researching and figuring things out independently
Show initiative without needing constant direction
Be organised, reliable and have good attention to detail
Be enthusiastic about learning and taking on new challenges
An interest in engineering, technology or boating would be a bonus, but certainly isn't essential.
School leavers and applicants with limited work experience are encouraged to apply!
We don't expect you to know everything. Some of the work involved will be new to us too, so being able to research, learn and find solutions is a big part of what we're looking for.
