🏁 SPRING CUP - 26 & 27 SEPTEMBER 🏁

We are locked in for our 2 day event.. we’ve made it a little different, bit more exciting, affordable & fun!

Only $120 entry for the two day event!

Saturday will be in reverse direction
Tuning
Quailfy 1 for race one = starting grid
Race one
Quailfy 2 for race two = starting grid
Race 2

Sunday will be in normal direction
Quailfy 3 for race three = starting grid
Race 3
Quailfy 4 for race four = starting grid
Race 4
Final = highest points off the front

Bonus point for pole sitter for each race, all points count for overall positions - no drops!

Weather has been mint here in the BOP so hopefully it sticks around!

🚨 All Karting New Zealand licenses expire tonight 🚨

If you are a current Karting NZ License Holder (Competition or Practice) you would have received a pre populated form

You will have received an email with a link to renew for the 2026/2027 year.

Use this – it is an auto-renewal. You won’t have to wait for the KSNZ office to process.

DO NOT use a ‘blank’ form.

If you do this your historical licence number is GONE 😞

NOTE – if you have held both a Practice & Competition Licence in the 2025/2026 year you will receive two links – one for each.

Make sure you use the correct one you want.

If you have a Practice but want to upgrade to Competition for this coming year you will have to use a blank form.

🏁 Charlie Clarke Racing is also off to Italy for the ROK cup! 🏁 congrats Charlie!

This is absolutely epic to see both of our clubbies hitting this next level of racing.

Proud of you both and can’t wait to get behind you Charlie & Nico Thomasen!

Great day for day 1 of Top Half Series today! We are ready for day 2 tomorrow.

Gates open 7am
Kitchen will be humming from 7:45am for breakfast buns and will ensure we have plenty more wraps, sammies, fruit pots + all the usual goods!

See you in the morning & don’t forget to check out 180 Photography and DJ Mills as they were both at the track snapping away today.

🏁 TOP HALF 🏁
- Pit allocation below. White spots are individuals, rest in your teams. Tow vehicles to be parked in the paddock just down the road. (Please respect the property as it is borrowed and we are lucky to be able to use this!)
- Gates technically open tomorrow at 2:30pm however will be floaters around during the day so call Dan on 0211705961 if you’d like to drop off early.
- Saturday and Sunday gates open at 7am
- Full kitchen & coffee kart available both days!

We are excited to host you all!

Top Half Series

🏁 Top Half Series R2 🏁
This coming weekend & we have the food menu set to hopefully cater for the warm, cold, quick bite or a filling/nutritious breki/lunch at affordable pricing!

Will also have an array of soft drinks including dirty sodas for $7 (they’re good! Redbull + soda + pump or two of flavour 👌🏻 - will use Powerade as the base for the U16s)

There will be a sausage sizzle on Saturday at the conclusion of racing prior to prizegiving.
Plenty of ‘desert’ both days.

Please note the track is now closed for practice as per the supplementary rules 🏁

🏁 TOP HALF ROUND 2 🏁
We are hosting the next round of Top Half here at BOP next weekend, 22 & 23 August!

A couple of things to note
- Pit site map will be out late next week
- Gates open Friday 21st approx 2:30pm until 7pm for trailer drop off
- Kitchen will be open with an awesome menu at great prices (will post next week also). This will include breakfast, lunch & desert 🥯🍟🥙🍻 both days.
- Coffee kart will be there both days until approx midday
- Prize giving for R1 and a sausage sizzle will be on Saturday at the conclusion of racing
