Well, another year almost done and dusted, been a busy one but not so sure about the finances? Parts sales have been average and on top of that the strong USA currency has made importing a lot more expensive, the double edge sword I have to deal with.
Workshops always busy and infact never stops. I managed to get a couple of jobs finished pre-X-mas, this genuine 1970 Perana Capri V8 was in for a full front suspension and brake rebuild along with other repairs, its taken a couple of months to source the correct parts(thanks Fitzy and Wayne).
Several repeat customers in, this lovely little 66 mustang coupe for a service, tune and check over, this mustang ive done previous work on and it drives beautifully.
This 69 BB 427 Camaro also in for its annual check over and service, another car ive done a bunch of work on, has a 427 engine with twin fours and a TKO 5 Speed..
This 70 Mach1 with a 351 Cleveland engine broke the front damper pulley this week, owner was lucky it didn’t go through the radiator, I had a stock replacement damper so out with the radiator, belts, pulleys to replace, hes good to go for X-Mas now.
Another Ford 9inch diff head gear ratio change for a race car, can do these with my eyes close(well, maybe). This 67 Mustang Coupe in with rear diff problems, replacement diff housing fitted, new axles, bearings, brakes, work is still ongoing.
And just today Nick and Alana picked up there 65 Falcon 2 Door Hardtop Project, i can see a great restoration in the future. Thank you for a gift voucher and card.
A month back I picked up all my USA freight which included this 68 Mustang J-Code Coupe, auto, p/s, original sun burnt paint, super mint rust-free CA body, has dents, 289 engine, doesn’t run, needs VIN & rego, an easier restoration project for $25K, contact me direct if interested.
That’s its from Dale at Coastline Auto, New Zealand. Merry X-Mas and Happy New Year, be careful out there and safe travels. PS: im around all stat days but call or txt first.
