Another 2 sets of custom pistons! 💪🏁
1) Pistons to suit 4.0 Intech Ford , after we'd done a chamber mold and forwarded to Diamond with our specs the pistons arrived perfect! 🙏
2) Pistons to suit SBC dirt car , custom bore , gas ported & coated skirt.... another beautiful piece. 👌

We deal with Diamond regularly & they are our go-to for high end new pistons. 💪🏁

We also did a back to back comparison with the 1UZ Superstock head we were sent to tidy up , and the CHD 1UZ Superstock head we've been working on in house, ours flowed "slightly" better in the cfm.... however check out that intake velocity @ .500 lift.... which one is going to respond better..... 😉.
M.C.S.A , valve size etc are different between heads & still a heap more to modify & test on the CHD head.💪🏁

Toyota 1UZ Superstock heads in for an update , tidied up intake including burr finish , exhaust port shape including evening up the roof/floor velocity.
These heads are for an engine shop so they will machine their own seats and kit heads out. 💪🏁

This is a cool project:
Nissan L28 cylinder head for a seal track car getting major re-work , set up on the Superflow SF600 flowbench to get a baseline (CFM, Swirl, Velocity). 👌Will baseline with & without intake bolted on.
Then out comes the welder, completely new design chambers as well correct valve, port ,throat sizing etc , been on the dyno previously so going to be interesting to see the performance gains once finished.💪🏁🏆

- 2.52 M.C.S.A
- 2.60 A.C.S.A

Really happy with the numbers on these heads & they sounds super stable on the SF600 Superflow flowbench.
Intake & exhaust velocities are on point, we're doing the complete engine build inhouse, de-stroked combination thats less than 1/2 cubic inch of the class rule limit.
Also CHD cam specs with custom shaft rockers with a determined ratio. 💪🏁

End of Speedway season so we made the decision to rock up to Eastern States Speedway for day 2 of their final meeting, the North vs South Modifieds. It was great to see live & support one of our customers running CHD engine/heads combination. Sheldon Arapere in the 9E was super quick even with the car a little unsettled, in amongst some of the best cars in the country Sheldon qualified on the 2nd row for the feature event bring it home in 3rd and securing his spot on the podium.🏆 (as well as 3rd on the podium for the Marlborough Championship on the Friday night 🏆)
Really impressed with the season results for the 9E Modified team, taking a few chequered flags 🏁 as well as getting on a few podiums is pretty impressive given this is Sheldon's first full season in a Modified! 🏆🏁

It was also good to see Kerry Walker in the 91n Stockcar take a heat win in his Mean Machine/CHD powered Ford stockcar.

We have a super busy off-season ahead with a number of Modified engine/head combos to get out for the next season (as well as other classes) & we really appreciate ALL our customers over the last race season & seeing their racing & successes. 💪🇳🇿🏁🏆.

Also some big exciting things coming over the off-season.... stay tuned 😉
