Devine's Automotive They say "as one door closes another door opens..." After a few years he set himself a goal of one day having his own work shop before he was 40.

From WoF's (including motorbikes), servicing, general repairs, wiring, AV install, 4x4 upgrades - with 25+ years of experience there isnt too much Sam can't help with on your vehicle, bike or stationery engine. While still at school Sam applied for what he thought was an after school job helping on a forecourt but soon realized that it was to be a mechanic. That goal is now a reality with the help of his partner Erica. From servicing, general repairs, wiring, AV install, 4x4 upgrades Sam has 22 years of experience and able to work on all types of vehicles/machinery - cars, buses, motorbikes, caravans, trailers to lawnmowers and stationery engines. As the business grows the things we will be able to help with will grow to. At the moment we are working from home and offer a mobile service. We understand also that sometimes there are not enough hours in the day or getting a broken vehicle to us can be hard so can help with pickup, delivery or even transporting. Erica will continue her commute to town each day at the moment but with 17yrs in customer service she will work behind the scenes to bring a personal touch to your experience with Devine's Automotive. Our hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm but the phone is always on and we are here to help so get intouch today. We are based in Rotherham but happy to help anyone from Hanmer Springs - Culverden - Waiau - Harwarden and everywhere in between!

What an awesome day and awesome turnout! It was great to see the Canterbury Lawn Mower Racing doing their thing, taking kids for a ride (and some adults (aka big kids) have a go also.

A massive thank you to everyone for the donation, we managed to raise over $910 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand on the day, bringing the total to close to $2000

You may have seen the pipes on the trailer in the car park, these were donated to auction off, and are up on trademe now. Click the link to check them out.

💙 Blue September BBQ Fundraiser – Saturday 26th September 💙
You may remember that last year we held a Blue September BBQ, and thanks to your incredible support we raised $1,454.91 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand.
This year, we're doing it all again!
Every dollar we raise will help provide vital support for the 1 in 8 Kiwi men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.
While your donations are greatly appreciated, the most important message is to look after your health. Early detection saves lives, so if you're due for a check-up, please don't put it off.
Come along on Saturday 26th September for a free sausage or burger, learn more about early detection, and check out the Canterbury Lawnmower Racing Club in action. Be warned though—you might just catch the racing bug!

Somebody was a bit hungry and had a good old munch on this cabin filter.
With the colder months starting rodents will be looking for warmth and food. On modern vehicles the plastic covering over the wires is especially tasty now too!
On another vehicle Ratty (going by the size of the fertilizer left) thought the top of the battery was a good pantry.
Regularly lift your bonnet and see if you can see any signs of rodents wanting to camp out just like birds do in summer. Traps or bait will help get rid of any unwanted campers.
