Our latest project is now ready to depart the workshop. The Hamilton Jet 131A has been successfully fitted with a Flo-Pro two-stage unit and a Honda J35 V6 engine. This vessel exhibits remarkable performance in shallow waters due to its lightweight design. Notably, this project holds special significance for us, as the owner is Bill Hamilton's grandson. We appreciate his decision to choose us for the fit-out 🚤🚤.

Another classic jet back on the water after some extensive re fit work 1974 Hamilton jet33 mk2 752 jet unit and ford v6 engine .. this we boat goes very well and is still a very usable classic !
Now ready for the next generation to enjoy

Here's something a little different we built up for a North Island-based customer late last year: a custom 5.3-metre, 20-degree V-radius bottom aluminium hull built to a very high standard by the team at Jetseeker alloy boats, fitted with a fibreglass deck and fitted out by us here at Character Boats 🚤. Marine power 5.3L DI and Hamilton 214 jet unit. Custom upholstery and full swim platform. This is a great package for deep water lake use. Soft riding and smooth with heaps of power from the 5.3 and 214 combo, with plenty of room for the whole family.

Jabberwock is now back with its owner after a very laborious transformation. Bought new by Hilda Latham of Little River then found at a clearing sale by the late Trevor fairbairn and now in the care of Trevor’s daughter and grandson. The ford pinto engine was well past it so has been replaced with a Suzuki m18 efi engine so the next generation can enjoy just how fantastic these wee boats really are.

Here we have the most original example of a jet32 mk1 that we have seen owned by the same southern lakes family since purchasing in 1970 and not used for the last 20 odd years .. we have fitted new fuel tanks fully buffed hull and deck new windscreens also some upholstery repairs including new full cover
Serviced the jetunit and engine, and a few small gelcoat repairs
And it runs like the day it left cwf Hamilton marine
