Calling all stickers! Please get your NW Smeg stickers to us now if you are saving them. So we can redeem them for WELLfed before stocks run out 🙏 Thank you VERY much amazing community!

Requesting all stickers!

New World has brought back the Smeg knife promo and we are very keen to collect stickers to get knives for our learner equipment packs.
Good knives cost a small fortune, so this promo could make a massive difference for us.

If you have spare or unneeded stickers, we’d love them.

You can drop them off or send them to WELLfed (54 Hampshire Street, Porirua 5024) or pop them into the box at Auto Services.

Ngā mihi nui, every little sticker helps put tools into real hands.

It's that time again, sticker mania at New World!! Even if you don't need or want new knives, please keep your stickers 🙏 we are collecting for WELLfed, one of our favourite charities. WELLfed teaches people in our community how to feed their whānau with healthy food on a budget. Thanks in advance for your support 🥰

WELLfed are putting together kindness food packages for their learners to help take some of the stress out of the Christmas season. If you'd like to contribute, please take a look at the list and drop items to the box in our workshop at 4 Ulric Street. Ideally by the end of next week so they have time to make the packages up before Christmas. Thanks SO much!! 🙏🙏🙏

'If you like something that's happening in your region just support it!' That's what drove Charlotte and Simon at Paremata Auto Services to set up a weekly donation to Predator Free Wellington and we love them for that!

'I was shocked to read that government funding for the predator free mission had dropped so we decided it was time to step up and do our bit. Every bit counts after all – and we reckon projects like PFW are good for tourism AND biodiversity, and a source of wellbeing and pride for the locals. We're proud to support something so valuable for our region'.

If your business is able to help out too, Charlotte is right: every bit really does count. Ngā mihi nui e te whānau! https://www.pfw.org.nz/support-us/

If you've been saving your stickers for WELLfed, you can drop them off to us at 4 Ulric Street, Plimmerton. Just be sure to get them to us well before the promo ends so we can redeem the baking dishes before stock runs out 😁

Huge thanks to everyone collecting New World stickers and redeeming them for us — especially our awesome friends at Paremata Auto Services 🙌

The large Smeg baking dish is a great size for our Learner whānau. If you’ve been collecting stickers, but don't need the dish, we’d be so grateful for your donation.

Please drop off to WELLfed or message us to arrange collection🧡

Predator free initiatives in our region need our help!

Government funding cuts have left Predator Free Wellington facing a funding shortfall of around $1.75 million, meaning the dream of clearing Wellington of introduced pests by 2030 is now fading. If you are in a position to help, please consider donating here https://www.pfw.org.nz/support-us/donate/

Predator Free Porirua relies only on volunteers and donations. See how you can get involved here https://www.predatorfreeporirua.org/get-involved

Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne Ecosanctuary's predator proof fence is coming to the end of its life and they are looking for donations to get it replaced https://zealandia-fence-campaign.raiselysite.com/

Let’s bring back the morning chorus to our region!
