Ever wondered what a ceramic coating actually does to your paint?

Look at a panel in cross-section and you can see the whole stack. First the steel body, then the anti-corrosion primer, the OEM colour coat, and the factory clear coat. That clear coat takes the punishment from UV and salt air, and it's the layer that oxidises and bleaches over time. Here in NZ, our strong UV and coastal salt give it a hard time.

The ceramic coating is bonded on top of the clear coat, only a few microns thick. It resists oxidation, blocks UV bleaching, and makes water bead and run off instead of sitting on your paint. Thin, hard, and easy to maintain, protecting everything underneath. 🚗

2021 GMC 1500 Denali Truck - Full cut & polish for a local dealer, resulted in a SOLD truck.

Buccaneer Motorboat - This one had HEAVY buildup and oxidation across the Hull and upper cabin areas - Full cut & polish followed by a high quality marine sealant to slow the progress of this happening again.

Look beyond the odometer at lease return. Paint condition is what actually drives your reconditioning bill. Mileage tells you how far a vehicle travelled, and paint condition tells you what it will cost to hand back. The moment a stone chip breaks through your clear coat, bare metal is exposed to coastal salt air, UV, and winter moisture. Rust starts almost immediately, and it doesn't stay put.
