With the continuing changes experienced within our industry over the past few years, we are altering how we do things here, at Methven Panel and Paint. As part of the change, we will not be renewing our preferred repairer contract with IAG Insurance, but will still be available to complete repairs to your IAG insured vehicle.
IAG Insurance has many companies under its ownership including AMI, State, NZI, and Lumley Insurance to name a few. Due to our decision to withdraw from the preferred repairer network, you may experience IAG call centre team members, redirecting you when you make a claim, as they are committed to supplying work to their own repairer network.
This decision has been made solely on the basis of retaining full control of our own business environment to ensure our sustainability into the future. Due to the high quality of our repairs, we confidently offer a full lifetime guarantee on our repair work, and fully comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, and Worksafe NZ Regulations. We are concerned, our decision may inconvenience you, our customers, as if you are redirected it
may result in 3 trips out of the local area, for an estimate to be completed, then to deliver your
vehicle for repair and again to collect your vehicle. Please remember, you have the right to choose where your vehicle is repaired.
We will work closely with IAG, to negotiate the individual repair contract, to assist you as much as possible, but sadly we cannot guarantee IAG will accept our terms on every claim.
We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standard of quality repairs, which has recently been recognized by FMG Insurance who have made us a pre-approved repairer up to the value of $10,000.00 per repair.
This means we can start your vehicle repair immediately once your claim is accepted, and the repair value is less than or equal to $10,000.00, reducing the repair process time and inconvenience for you.
