Have a bike just sitting around? Feel free to drop it off during our opening hours of 8 - 5 Mon - Fri or 8 - Noon Saturday.

The team have had a full week and winter is definitely here in the Hutt! (We may have taken some liberties with the photo, based on how the mornings felt.)

We know many of you are starting to think about your tyres as the cold, wet weather sets in.

One thing our crew absolutely loves is when customers come in just to ask questions— no booking, no pressure. "Is this tread depth okay?" "Should I be worried about this?" "When do I actually need to replace these?" These are great questions and we're always happy to take a look, free of charge.

🙏🏼 Thank you for the awesome bike donations which are rolling in to Bridgestone Railway Ave - Lower Hutt. They were rescued by Bike Rescue who will rescue and repair them again with our team of volunteers. These are a great range of sizes and they’ll be fully checked and fixed, ready to be given away to someone who needs them. 🙏🏼 🚴

We also do free repairs on all kids bikes,
We’d love your help to do it, if you can. Even a $5 or $10 donation will help keep these bikes repaired for the rest of their life. 🚲

It’s official! We’ve had our first donation for Free Ride dropped off at our Railway Avenue shop!

Thanks to our Bridgestone rep, Todd Fairless, for bringing in his bike, which will now be looked over, fixed up and given free to someone in our community.

Have a spare bike laying around? Drop it by during our opening hours and we’ll make sure it gets to the team at Free Ride.

We're really proud to share some exciting news.

Bridgestone Lower Hutt on Railway Ave is now an official bike donation drop-off point for Free Ride!

Free Ride is a brilliant local organisation based right here in the Hutt Valley. They take donated bikes, repair them, and get them back into the hands of people in the community who need them.

Every bike tells a new story.

Here's how you can help:
🚲 Got an old bike gathering dust? Bring it in to us at 44 Railway Ave during opening hours.

🛠 We'll pass it straight to the team at Free Ride Naenae. No booking needed, no fuss.

❤️ Free Ride’s mechanics will get it roadworthy and into the hands of someone who needs it.

Big, small, rusty, old— they can work with all of it.
Drop off Mon–Fri 8:00am–5pm or
Sat 8:00am–12pm.
