You asked if 33s would fit, so we tried em'.

In this bonus episode of our 2026 N90 Hilux Build Series, we upgraded the suspension with a Terrain Tamer Remote Reservoir kit and a 2-inch lift, then fitted 33-inch tyres.

We also talk about why we waited until everything was fitted before choosing the suspension setup.

The 33s definitely change the look, but they also introduce a few clearance issues and compromises. In the video, we run through what we found and why weโ€™re sticking with our original tyre setup.

The 400kg challenge finished...

Now, we're taking the Hilux further for the trips we have planned. ๐Ÿ‘€

A full suspension upgrade is coming next, ready for some tougher tracks later this year.

We gave ourselves a 400kg accessory budget for the N90 Hilux build.

Four episodes later, hereโ€™s where we landed.

345.5kg.

That leaves us 54.5kg inside our original target. Episode 4 is now live, closing out the build we originally set out to complete.
