A massive congratulations to our drivers who are finalists for 'Competitor of the Year' in their respective classes at the upcoming Speedway New Zealand awards being held in Christchurch.

Congratulations also to the Suck it Up Glen Eagles who are finalists in the 'Best Presented Team' category.

All are deserving of their nominations after a fantastic year and we wish them the best of luck at the awards night in July.

At our recent awards night dinner, we got to celebrate and acknowledge the many achievements of our drivers, members, and volunteers.

Once again, we wish to acknowledge the huge effort from our social co-ordinator Tracy Andrew, plus helpers Anne-Marie Wright, Kirsten Chapman and everyone else behind the scenes for putting together a well supported evening.

Again we engaged the services of Jason Gutteridge as our MC who delivered an outstanding presentation with the perfect mix of humour.
