Auto Salvage is a Southland,Otago & Central Otago wide Towing, Recovery & Salvage Company.

Our Specialist Recovery Operators:

All staff have passed thorough background and Police checks and are licensed to NZTA standards. They undertake on-going training to provide the latest up to date methods and are capable at all aspects of the towing and salvage Industry. Our drivers are all tidy in appearance and dressed in a Company branded uniform. We will endeavour to always remain courteous,

friendly and helpful in any situation. Safety is paramount and safety gear is provided to them i.e.; high visibility jackets/vests, hard hats, eye wear and gloves. Our Specialist Recovery Trucks:

Auto Salvage trucks are equipped with all types of necessary equipment, for example an OSH approved spill kit, flashing beacons, jump packs, unlock tools, jack, wheel brace, air lines with tyre inflator and also a wide range of fuses, nuts, bolts, split pins, lubricants, engine start and petrol/diesel in case you run dry. Full Response Services Offered:

Every truck carries a digital camera. Photos can and will be taken on request before and after loading / unloading of vehicles. In the case of an accident or off road salvage, our driver can take scene photos before vehicles are moved. This is to assist you and your Insurance Company with visible damage and to help you both with the claims process. This service is free of charge and will be at no cost to you or your Insurance Company. Vehicle Tracking and GPS Fleet Management System:

Every truck in our fleet has a Vehicle Tracking and GPS Fleet Management system. This system allows us to see all our vehicles at any time, we can send the nearest vehicle to your job and send it by the most direct route which saves you time and money.

What a weekend! 🚛💨

Safe to say the crews have earned a good sit down and a strong coffee after a busy one across the board! From roadside recoveries to the unexpected “well… that’s not supposed to be there” moments 😅, it’s been all go.

Huge thanks to our awesome team for putting in the hard yards, day and night, and to all our customers for their patience and support over a hectic weekend.

Our Dunedin truck is Christchurch-bound, a Cromwell truck is heading to Dunedin, and the Invercargill crew are here, there and everywhere keeping busy too! Safe to say the wheels are turning all across the lower South Island today 🌦️🛻

2 long but super fast years today since our Superman took his last breath 💔😢

Not a single day goes by where you aren’t spoken about, remembered, or mentioned. Your photos still sit proudly around the office, and your name still comes up in the stories, laughs, and memories we all hold onto ❤️

There has never been another you, Brad, and we know there never will be. Work just hasn’t been the same without your cheeky laugh, your big personality, and the way you always gave everything 110%.

Today is a very sad day. We’ve lost an absolute New Zealand legend, a true icon of country music and entertainment, Dame Jools Topp.

Absolutely gutted to hear Jools has passed after living with cancer for so many years. A voice, a laugh, and a spirit that brought so much joy to so many Kiwis will never be forgotten.

May you finally be free of pain, up there singing, laughing and playing all you want ❤️ Sending so much love to Dame Lynda Topp and all the family at this heartbreaking time. Thinking of everyone who loved her. Rest easy, Jools 💔🌻

While most were tucked up in bed, the Invercargill crew were out last night rescuing a camper that decided the trees looked like a good place for a rest 🌲🚐😅 Thankfully, another one safely sorted!
