Hi there farmers, Do you ever wish you could call in a mechanic to fix your car or ute when it breaks down or needs servicing like you would for your tractor? If you can’t take your light vehicle in to the garage for some reason then call me. I can come to you service your vehicle, fix the engine or brakes, resolve issues with the cooling system or suspension, make windows go up and down again or fix just about anything in your light automotive vehicle. I can fix some gearbox or transmission problems but others may need to go to a specialist. I don’t have tyre changing equipment but I recommend All Tyres for puncture repairs or new tyres. I’m qualified to work on high voltage systems in electric vehicles and hybrids.
Serving people across rural Southland. I’m based in Branxholme currently but I’m looking for a workshop for the big jobs and to do WOFs in. I can’t do WOFs at this stage. When I’m working on your vehicle there needs to be space for me to park close to it. If it needs to be jacked up then it will need to be on a hard surface. There cannot be any dogs or children in the work area.
I like trucks and other heavy equipment and big modern tractors but I don’t have any experience on them: so if you want me to work on them you might have to teach me. And my diagnostic scan tool probably can’t talk to the computers in them. We have a Massey Ferguson 35 tractor here and I have worked on an old Fiat tractor but that’s about the extent of my experience on them. I also have not done much with bikes but I should be able to fix them.
I’m intending to charge similarly to most other garages or maybe slightly less. Charging $85 per hour and $1.30 per km with no GST as I’m not registered for GST yet. But I’m sure I will have to add GST on to my pricing sometime in the future.
I won’t be available on Sundays as I will be with the church remembering the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ.
