$11,620 raised for Hospice Waikato!

What an incredible result from Frank Risk Management’s 11th Annual Table Tennis Tournament, recently hosted right here in the Tristram Marine showroom.

32 teams came together for a brilliant night of both social and competitive table tennis, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, to raise funds for an amazing local cause.

Thanks to everyone who entered, donated and supported the evening, an incredible $11,620 was raised for Hospice Waikato, helping support the important work they do for patients and their families in our community.

Congratulations to Bruce & Kevin from Cambridge Seniors, who took out the competitive league, and Nick & Alistair from DTI Lawyers, winners of the social league.

A huge thank you to the team at Frank Risk Management for putting together another fantastic event, Clearmatch for coming on board as the main sponsor, and everyone who helped make the night such a success.

It was a real pleasure to welcome everyone to Tristram Marine and play a small part in such a special night for an incredible local cause.

The days are getting longer and summer is calling. More daylight means more time on the water - more casts, more miles, and more moments like these.

Over 40 participants and support crew gathered at Tristram Marine last Friday for ‘Boating Basics for Women’ — an evening of learning, conversation and connection with Wild Chix NZ.

A huge thank you to Isabell Zitzelsberger and the Wild Chix crew for an outstanding evening — and to everyone who came ready to learn and get involved.

From staying safe on the water and understanding navigation and weather, to boat preparation and handling, the evening was packed with practical knowledge designed to help women feel more capable and confident on the water.

Questions were asked. Knowledge was shared. Confidence grew. And that’s exactly what the night was about.

Here’s to feeling just as comfortable at the helm as anywhere else on board!
