Pirongia Action Automotive Your local one-stop workshop just south of Pirongia! In January 2007 we took on our first apprentice and the following year took on our next technician.

We’re a friendly, experienced team you can trust for everything from WOFs, servicing & tyres to diesel tuning, wheel alignments and light engineering - all with honest advice and a smile. Pirongia Action Automotive Ltd began in November 2005, with our mobile truck, servicing local vehicles, tractors and bikes. In July 2006 we moved into our newly built workshop due to workload demand employing another technician to work alongside Grant. In 2010 we increased our workshop area which allowed us to purchase another hoist for use with our computerised wheel alignment machine and to increase our tyre stock substantially. We also purchased a diagnostic scanner. With the increase in workload we recently took on a Service Manager to manage our team. Here is a brief overview of what we can do at Pirongia Action Automotive - ask us if you need anything else done!

- WOF checks - cars / trailers
- Full range of tyres at very competitive prices
- Full 4 wheel computerised wheel alignment service
- Same day Servicing Diesel Options - Petrol Options
- Batteries
- In-house Diagnostic Scanning for most vehicles
- Tractor servicing & repairs - we can come to you
- Motorbike servicing & repairs
- Light Engineering - trailer repairs, farm gates & farm equipment

- Automatic transmission servicing
- Air conditioning checks & servicing by mobile specialist
- Pre-purchase inspections - to highlight any hidden surprises
- Vehicle inspection reports - to identify if any finance is owing on the vehicle

The Little Village that Could....

Survive 2 road closures for 6 weeks plus twice in one year.

This is how we do it!!!

Thankyou so much to everyone that turned up with their Cool Cars today to support Mountain Folk Cafe Retreat and Pirongia Village. It was really great to see our clients and meet locals and people from further afield that we haven't met yet. At the peak there were 60 cars or more.

🚗 From soft top to ute! 🛻

A little Suzuki Escudo conversion, courtesy of Grant!

This one was a project of Grant’s, converting this 3-door Escudo from a soft top into a tidy, little 2-door ute. With some help from Graham at Alexandra Autobody Fabrication next door, the project came together nicely! 👌

And yes, that is a back door which has been used to make the rear wall. 😎

Want your own Suzuki Escudo ute? If you’re keen to create the next one, get in touch with us today! 🔥

What do you reckon? Would you drive it? 👀
