This stunning Ford 400-cubic-inch V8 is officially bolted down, plumbed up, and sitting proud back in its rightful home.

This 1979 Lincoln Continental originally rolled into Auto Super Shoppe Feilding for a simple, routine oil leak repair. But once we opened her up, we discovered the engine internals were in much worse condition than anyone originally thought.

Instead of just patching over the problem or leaving the owner with a ticking time bomb, our team stepped up to save this absolute legend. We worked closely with the customer to completely transform the job, saving them massive future headaches (and an extra trip to the workshop) by upgrading it to a complete, top-to-bottom performance rebuild.

We didn’t just fix the leak, we gave this 5.8-metre land yacht the ultimate longevity and power upgrade with:
🔹 Oversized pistons for extra displacement
🔹 A mild cam for that perfect vintage rumble
🔹 High-lift lifters to maximize the power band

👏 Huge credit goes to our incredibly skilled technicians! A high-precision project like this requires serious expertise, and our team poured absolute craftsmanship into every stage from the meticulous machining and sealing to dropping this massive block perfectly back between the fenders.

It now runs smoother and sounds significantly meaner than it did the day it rolled off the assembly line. The owner can now hit the road with total peace of mind knowing the job was done properly.
