Woo hoo !!! We now have over 100 entrants locked and loaded for this weekends Brooklands meeting on Saturday 31st August...

Woo hoo !!! We now have over 100 entrants locked and loaded for this weekends Brooklands meeting on Saturday 31st August, it’s an all time record for one of our single day meetings.
We have 30 entrants for our brand new Classic Allcomers class run by Steve Keene so that is a fantastic start for that concept.
We also have 30 plus Pre 78 Classic Saloons in that perennial favourite that just continues to grow in both diversity and numbers.
We also have very healthy numbers of the VCC guys and gals running in the Grand Prix Specials class, along with Formula Libre cars plus there is a heap of cool old Motorbikes from our friends at CAMS.
The volunteers that run the Classic Motor Racing Club NZ are immensely proud of their efforts to make it the South Island’s very best Classic and Historic Motor Racing Club and we’ve only just begun so watch this space as we have some exciting new developments.

Im looking for information on this Lotus that my father owned and drove in the early 70s in the North Island. Im hoping to find out exactly what model this was and where it may have ended up as I was only a baby at the time and my father has since passed.

Vale: Rob Boult. Sadly, our intrepid leader, friend and fellow racer in the NZGP Specials group has passed.

His legacy remains in the memories that we all have of the many cars restored and raced by him over the years. Rob travelled near and far to race & wave the Banner and we will be eternally gratefull for his inspiration and leadership.
