Throwback Friday came early at Treads! 😎

Felt like we were back in 2001 this morning when not one, but two 1997 Toyota Caribs rolled into the workshop.
Back in the day these wagons were everywhere, and for good reason. Lightweight, reliable, practical, and powered by the legendary 4AGE Twin Cam 20-valve engine that every young car enthusiast dreamed about.
Seeing a pair of these classics together brought back plenty of nostalgic memories of late-night cruises, loud stereos, and trying to squeeze every last horsepower out of a 4AGE.
Great to see these icons still on the road and being looked after. 👌

Definitely looked like a Kenda Klever RT kind of morning at Treads Dunedin — four trucks rolling out the door with a whole lot more capability than they came in with.
