A lot of you have been asking for photos from the weekend, so here are a few of our favourites! 🏁
As you can probably tell, we had an awesome time at GT-R Festival NZ at Hampton Downs. it was a fantastic weekend celebrating all things GTR.
One of the best parts of the event was the opportunity to connect with so many people from across New Zealand who share the same passion for Nissan performance vehicles. The GTR community is incredibly welcoming, and it was great to spend time talking with owners, drivers, builders, and enthusiasts, hearing their stories and learning more about their cars. Events like this are about much more than the vehicles themselves—they’re about the connections, and knowledge that is shared within the community.
One of the biggest highlights for Mike was having the opportunity to meet and chat with GTR Festival creator Andrew Hawkins. Andrew is the driving force behind what has become a globally recognised event and is passionate about far more than just GTR entertainment. He is dedicated to the GTR lifestyle, the cars themselves, building them, and keeping the legendary brand alive for future generations.
We’ve also included a few photos of Mike checking out some of the amazing cars on display, along with his own Nissan Skyline Autech R32, which made the trip up to Hampton Downs for the event. 🔥
