This 2008 Holden Commodore VE SS-V came into the workshop looking for some serious performance love with a cam, valve spring, and LS7 lifter upgrade. But as any LS owner knows, sometimes you have to dig deeper to do it right!

Once we got into it, we uncovered a few common issues: a leaking sump, front cover, and rear cover, along with a completely broken factory timing chain tensioner 😱.

Instead of just patching it up, we pulled the engine to refresh all the gaskets and bulletproof the setup. While it was out, we treated it to the ultimate reliability and performance mods:

✅ GM Motorsport Chopper Reid camshaft

✅ PSI valve springs

✅ Upgraded LS7 lifters

✅ Melling high-flow oil pump for rock-solid oil pressure

✅ Upgraded LS7 timing chain tensioner (goodbye fragile stock plastic!)

✅ Powerbond underdrive pulley kit to free up extra rotational energy

With the engine sealed tight and back where it belongs, it went straight onto the hubs for a custom dyno tune.

📈 The Result: A massive 466hp / 347kw 🐎💨 Now it has the reliability to match that aggressive new cam chop.

Dash says 1/4 tank, Hilux says nah 😅

We’ve recently seen an influx of late-model Hilux’s that have run out of fuel BETWEEN 1/2 & 1/4 on the gauge.

2 big culprits we’re seeing:

1️⃣ Fuel gauge/sender fault — very common issue, dash cluster reads wrong, tank is actually empty.

2️⃣ Blocked fuel sock & diesel bug — sock clogs, fuel filter runs dry & engine starves

Towing the caravan or boat this summer? You’ll find out real quick.

Bring it in to us — we’ll diagnose it properly & confirm what the actual fault is. It may need the dash cluster repaired or the tank dropped, cleaned, renew the filter sock & diesel bug additive in the tank 👌

This Nissan Skyline R32 just rolled out of the All Torque Automotive workshop after a massive Stage 4 upgrade and dyno tune.

We took this R32 to the next level with modern electronics & turbo to create a reliable package.

Here is the full breakdown of what went into this build: 🛠️

Electronics: Fitted a Link ECU for total control and precision tuning.
Built a brand-new engine loom from scratch to seamlessly integrate all the new electronics.
Added a suite of extra engine safety sensors to protect the motor under heavy boost.
Integrated a AIC CAN gauge for real-time data monitoring at a glance.

Ignition system: Installed a trigger kit to eliminate timing drift at high RPMs. Upgraded to R35 VR38 coils

Fuel system: Installed 1000cc fuel injectors & external fuel pressure regulator.

Turbo: Upgraded to a PSR G30-770, Turbosmart 45 hyper gate & top mount manifold

Fitted Fenix radiator with high-flow electric fans to keep engine temperatures perfectly managed.

Completed a meticulous, custom dyno tune to extract maximum power safely and smoothly 📊🔥
