I'm not very active on Facebook, but today is a little special, and I feel the need to acknowledge it.

Allan was our very first customer when we opened in 2003. Since then, we've handled every oil change and repair for him. I can't tell you how many sets of brake pads we’ve fitted for his vehicles!

Not only is he our first customer, but he has also become a dear friend.

Allan has finally retired, and it feels fitting for us to purchase his NZ new, one-owner Hiace van with 750,000 km on the clock. We promise to take great care of it!

Enjoy your retirement, Allan! I look forward to catching up over coffee soon. 🙂

It's school holidays again. Are you taking a trip with the

Spring Car Checklist. After a cold winter bundled up
inside, getting back out on the road more calls for a
thorough vehicle checkover. At bare minimum the
following are a must: - Looking after your tyres is
essential, they are the only point of contact between your
vehicle and the road and affect handling, braking and
acceleration, visually inspect all of your tyres makings ure
there is no damage or bulges and that the tread on them
is at least 2mm.- Winter cold reduced use can affect your
battery. Signs that it might need replacing are: Electrical
issues, dimming headlights, check engine light or your
engine taking longer to start. Also, don't forget to keep a
jump starter or a pair of jumper leads in the back just in
case. - Make sure your vehicle’s fluids are topped up.
That includes engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, and
screenwash. - Saying goodbye to dark days doesn't mean
your lights don't matter. Make sure all bulbs are working
and clean. If you have to replace them it's to keep lighting
consistent it's best to change them in pairs. And if you
