⚠️COMPLEX LOW – HEAVY RAIN WARNING REMAINS IN PLACE FOR THE KAIKOURA & HURUNUI DISTRICT.
Our heavy rain warning remains in place, issued over 4 days ago. Rainfall totals may exceed 200mm in parts of the Kaikoura District by Monday evening, with significant falls also affecting areas in the Hurunui District by early afternoon on Monday. Our warning has been updated, with full details.
💧Flooding, slips and disruptions are possible about the Kaikoura District by late Monday morning; risk also covers areas, south to around Greta Valley. Ensure you keep up to date with local authorities in these areas over the next 24 hours.
