Pretty happy with this one....

🏀 Its getting close to 200Ks so didn't push it too hard....

🏀 100-150Nm gains all the way to 4000 rpm
🏀 35-45Kw all the way to 4000 rpm

🏀 The engine spins effortlessly now, breaths better and holds torque.

🏀 We did take a little boost out from 3000 rpm after this run to slow the turbo down a little....

🏀 Transmission tune is great, No slip whatso ever...

🏀 Just bring your Rangers here to be tuned......We do actual custom dyno tuning....

⛽ Latest Amarok making a 30-50kw gain in power through the rpm range...Max 175Kw at the wheel, up from 145Kw

⛽ And its making 120Nm more torque right through the rpm range....

⛽ The dyno curve is a bit shaky, I think we will do an injector balance test and maybe look at a fuel pressure control valve if that doesn't fix it.

⛽ I bet the fuel consumption is in the 8s now. Will report back after some testing

Update. Fuel consumption on the first 100k drive...mostly flat with traffic...7.4L/100ks

Oh boy look at this one...2022 V6 Wildtrak

🚘 Mikes Wildtrack came in making 130Kw at the wheels, tested in 7th gear...The DPF is intact and working.....

🚘 Its just left with 181kw at the wheels, tested in 7th gear 😂😂😂

🚘 Torque is up by 200Nm, and at 3500 RPM, is still up by 160Nm at 3500 rpm 😂😂

🚘 This is a serous power gain. The turbo is quite happy with the boost its producing. We have not pushed the boundaries with this power level. We have just figured out how to do it...

🚘 Also, its not finished yet. We will improve this tune over the coming weeks as there are obvious places to improve the tuning, post some testing and feedback........
This is 100% inhouse developed......No other parties have any involvement whatsoever...

🚘 Feedback from Mike, Its driving perfectly, there is nothing odd happening, Just smooth power delivery, and 8.0L/100ks fuel economy on the trip home

How about This for a great looking dyno sheet.

🎯 We have spent hundreds of hours working on the Ranger tuning.
This is the culmination of that work......

🎯 The graph speaks for itself....
🎯 30-40kw right through the rpm range
🎯 150Nm more torque
🎯 Nice boost right through the RPM range
🎯 Its noticeably quieter at idle, with less injector/diesel rattle/noise
🎯 Fuel consumption on the trip home has been reported as 26% lower...thats an impressive reduction...confirmed by the owner

🎯 The transmission has no slip whats so ever, It just speeds up, changes gear and does it all again. Very different from the original transmission charastics.

Just bring your Rangers here to be tuned....Its not the cheapest, but is is the best....

Look at this one. Made a nice power gain but the power curve is all over the place.

🍎 Its got a new set of injectors but the fuel pressure control valve (SCV) is the older shorter type and clearly worn out.
🍎 Once a new longer version is installed, it should clean up the fuel delivery a lot.
🍎 Boost curve is more like a boost line which is great.

🍎 150Nm and 45kw in the lower end is very handy and we haven't even pushed it hard at all.

PX 2 in for a Tune. This one was tuned by someone else down south a little, and on a dyno which is surprising....That tune is the lower lines on the dyno and was running stock boost

🌶️ Its fitted with a stage 2 high flow turbo so it can easily handle more boost.

🌶️ This vehicle tows a lot so we made a tune that is designed for towing. See how the power is way higher in the rpm range, We want the engine to be spinning when its working hard.

Why, we want the
🌶️ -oil pump
🌶️ -Water pump
🌶️ -Turbo charger
🌶️ -And most importantly, the transmission spinning fast

🌶️ What this does is spread the torque across a wider rpm range, allow for better lubrication and cooling, and importantly, spreads the power going into the trans across more rpm.
🌶️ Also the fan cant spin if the engine isn't spinning.

🌶️ Now the engine can spin out to 3500 rpm effortlessly before changing gears which really keeps momentum up, and is much easier on the transmission

🌶️ Everything was wrong with the tune it came with, we changed every single map.

😂 BMW make awesome diesels that's for sure.

😂 Doesn't make the low end torque the Ranger makes with a Big turbo, But they just go and go and go...

🍅 Stock injectors
🍅 Waste gated turbo
🍅 3" Exhaust turbo back

🍅 No Smoke at all
🍅 Hard on boost by 1800 RPM

🍅 Custom tuned by ecuchips
🍅 With + 30 Injectors, this would make 230Kw (308Hp) at the wheels easily enough.
🍅 With some more tuning, and a little haze from the exhaust, 260Kw (350Hp) at the wheels is easily attainable.

Pretty nice gain from this PX3 Ranger.

🍅 And sitting on 35 inch tires its made 145kw and 620Nm. The DPF is fully intact

🍅 The boost is a little high, maybe 1.5PSI, but the customer will clean the intake manifold this week, after which we expect the boost pressure to drop by at least 2PSI

🍅 Oil was quite black and a bit overfull, so we changed it before the dyno testing.

🍅 The trans tuning is quite difficult with such big tires, but after the first couple of hours of driving, the trans has done some learning and is now shifting spot on.
🍅 All the slip has gone now. It just shifts gear and drives forward, then does it all again, and again....With the big tires, the slip was very bad when it came in.....

🍅 We where expecting to make some minor adjustments to the trans over the next few days, so lets see if that's required, but it is part of the service at no extra cost
