Quite a tidy 190sl but the owners never enjoyed driving her as she would always break down and was hard to start once worn.
Found quite a few issues. Carbs where never jetted for the engine too much fuel pressure and tons of air leaks just to start.
Carb linkage didnt open the carbs together.
Rectified all these issues then had to sort out the ignition system.
Now she purrs like a kitten and drives like a dream and starts first time every time and the owners can now enjoy her in time for summer.

Quite a rare 1972 Toyota Corolla Levin factory fitted with the 2TG engine with twin Mikuni Solex carburettors.
It had been sitting for 15 years and the carbs where completely blocked with old fuel including all the fuel lines. Barely any fuel would come through.
We stripped and restored the carbs.
Cleaned out the steel fuel lines and stripped and cleaned the mechanical fuel pump.
Also installed an electric fuel pump to prime it as it doesn’t get used very often.

1978 Mercedes 250 38DGAS conversion.
Had to make an adaptor plate for the manifold
And re do all the throttle linkage and replaced the transmission kick down rod with a cable and set accordingly the increase in torque and performance is quite impressive

It all started years ago when we restored the carburettors along with a whole lot of engine work.
Got the customer very excited and he decided he wanted the rest of the car to match the work we did.
