As the school holidays are here, JDs Mobile Mechanic is taking a short break from the 7th-14th to spend some quality time with family & friends. I will be back in the office on the 15th.

Called out to a customer last week with a Suzuki carry ute lacking power intermittently. Upon check over no warning lights on dash, no provision to check fuel rail pressure via the autel & no codes. After carrying out a fuel pressure test, it resulted in 30psi down to 8psi intermittently.

Unfortunate outcome for my customer today: I dropped the fuel tank to replace the pump, and I found a botched up fuel pump assembly and fuel tank full of rust!!!
