Your tyres are the only thing between you and the road.
In winter, grip matters more than ever.

NZ law says you need at least 1.5mm of tread depth across three quarters of the tyre. If your tyres have tread indicators, they need to show at least that much too.

We recommend replacing them well before they get to that point especially in cold, wet conditions.

✅ Check your tread depth
✅ Watch for uneven wear
✅ Don’t forget the spare
✅ Keep your tyre pressure right

Under-inflated tyres burn more fuel. Over-inflated ones wear faster and affect handling. We check all of this during your regular service.

We get this question a lot and the short answer is: worth checking early.

Here’s what it could mean:
🔹 Squealing? Your brake pads might be worn down.
🔹 Pulling? Uneven brake pressure, wheel alignment or a sticking caliper could be the cause.
🔹 Vibration when braking? Your rotors might be warped.

Noisy or uneven braking is a sign something’s not quite right and it won’t fix itself.
Bring it in and we’ll take a look before it becomes a bigger (or more expensive) problem.
