Clear glass for safer driving ☀️

Low spring sun makes a dirty windscreen glare.
✅ Clean the inside of the windscreen too. A film builds up there over time.
✅ Use a dedicated glass cleaner and two clean microfibre towels: one to clean, one to buff.
✅ Wipe your wiper blades and replace them if they streak or chatter.
✅ Keep your washer fluid topped up.

The two-bucket wash method 🪣🪣

✅ One bucket with car shampoo, one with clean rinse water.
✅ Rinse your wash mitt in the rinse bucket after each panel, then reload it with shampoo.
✅ Grit guards help keep settled dirt at the bottom of the bucket.
✅ Change the water when it gets dirty.
✅ Less grit on your mitt means less risk of wash marks.

Clean your wheels first 🛞

✅ Do wheels and tyres before the paint, so dirty splash doesn't land on a clean car.
✅ Work on cool wheels, not straight after a drive.
✅ Use a wheel cleaner that suits your wheel finish.
✅ Keep separate brushes and mitts for wheels and never use them on paint.
✅ Rinse thoroughly, including the inner barrels.

Spring-clean your car's interior 🧽🚗

✅ Take the floor mats out and clean them separately.
✅ Vacuum from the top down: seats and gaps first, then carpets.
✅ Wipe high-touch areas like the steering wheel, gear selector and door handles, using a product that's safe for each surface.
✅ Clean the inside of the glass last to remove any overspray.
✅ Check for damp carpet. Moisture is a common cause of musty smells.
