🔧 Small gasket. Big job. Even bigger consequences if ignored.

Today's repair: BMW X3 – Rocker Cover Gasket & Complete Rubber Seal Replacement.

Over time, the extreme heat inside your engine causes rubber gaskets and seals to harden, shrink, and crack. Once they lose their flexibility, engine oil begins to leak—leading to burning oil smells, smoke from the engine bay, and potentially serious engine damage if left unattended.

Our Workshop Foreman, Razim, is demonstrating exactly why these gaskets needed replacing. The old seals had become brittle and were no longer capable of sealing the engine properly—something we regularly see on ageing and high-kilometre vehicles.
