A big congratulations and thank you to Jasmine & Summer — mum and daughter — on their recent purchases with us! 🎉🚗

It’s not every day we get to help one family into two vehicles, so this one is extra special! 🥰

🔑 Summer picked up a MINI Cooper S Paceman — stylish, sporty and ready for the road.

🔑 Jasmin drove away in a Holden Captiva — the perfect combination of comfort and practicality.

Thank you, Jasmine & Summer, for choosing to purchase your vehicles with us and for putting your trust in our team. We truly appreciate your support! 🙏

She said family car. She didn’t say which family 🤷‍♂️
Told the salesman “something practical” and this is what he walked me to. Respect.
Let’s rank them by how fast I’d get kicked out of the house:
1️⃣ Mildly annoyed
2️⃣ Sleeping on the couch
3️⃣ Changed the locks
Tell me which one you’re taking and which number you’re landing on 👇

Buying a used car? Check these 5 things first, or it could cost you thousands 👇
1️⃣ Coolant condition and overheating. Dirty, oily or low coolant can point to head gasket trouble. Check it cold, and keep an eye on the temp gauge during the test drive.
2️⃣ Transmission faults. Slipping, harsh or delayed shifts, or a shudder when you pull away, are all red flags.
3️⃣ Electrical faults. Warning lights, dodgy windows and glitchy screens can turn into expensive fixes.
4️⃣ Diesel EGR and DPF. Lots of short trips can clog both, and repairs can run into the thousands.
5️⃣ Not having an MBI. Mechanical breakdown insurance costs far less than one big repair bill.
At The Garage we’re happy to talk you through any car on our yard. Ask us about MBI when you come in 🔧
