Canterbury Vehicle Compliance Limited is an independent vehicle inspection company:

A vehicle inspector position has become available at our Belfast Testing Station - permanent full time. However, flexible hours may be discussed. Competitive salary and free WOFs.

If you'd like to make a change and/or take your career in this direction, we'd like to hear from you. Ideally, we'd like the candidate to tick the following technical and personal attributes boxes:

- a full NZ driver’s licence and you are residing in New Zealand already
- COF B authority, WOF authority or to be a qualified mechanic (training provided)
- able to pay attention to detail
- show initiative, be reliable and demonstrate a good work ethic, have enthusiasm for the industry
- enjoy the team spirit to best collaborate with the team and also be able to work independently
- possess good communication skills.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Warrant of fitness inspections help keep you safe—but to do that inspectors need to be able to carry out the full inspection.

Part of the WoF includes checking for corrosion and damage to your vehicle's structure. Because of that, your vehicle's body can't be covered like this—so this is a fail. It's illegal to use a vehicle if it doesn't meet WoF requirements.
