Buddha Purnima—also known as Vesak or Buddha Jayanti—is the most sacred day for Buddhists around the world. It commemorates the three major events in the life of Siddhartha Gautama, who became the Buddha:
His birth in Lumbini, His enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, and His Mahaparinirvana (final passing) in Kushinagar.

More than just a celebration, this day invites us to reflect on the Four Noble Truths, follow the Eightfold Path, and cultivate peace within ourselves and the world. As we pour water over the image of the Enlightened One, may we also cleanse our hearts and renew our commitment to truth, non-violence, and universal kindness.

May the teachings of Lord Buddha guide you on the path of peace, compassion, and enlightenment. Happy Buddha Purnima.🪷
