Nepal has urged international tourists not to cancel their planned trips, assuring that the country remains open and welcoming to visitors despite the devastating floods and widespread destruction.

Tourism Minister Khadak Raj Paudel has urged international travelers not to cancel their planned visits to Nepal following the recent devastating floods. He said the disaster has affected specific locations and does not represent conditions across the entire country. Most major tourism destinations remain open and continue to operate normally.
Travelers are advised to check the latest road, weather and route conditions before starting their journey. Visitors should also avoid flood damaged areas and affected trekking corridors until authorities confirm that access is safe.
Continuing responsible tourism can help support local guides, hotels, restaurants, transport workers and communities as Nepal continues its recovery from the disaster.🇳🇵🙏
