When the BFA crew finally get to go fishing together😎
Bilal, Mons, Henrik and Paul headed offshore in search of some big coalfish, and it didn’t take long before things kicked off. Big fish, long runs and screaming reels, with several solid ones pushing the 10kg mark. Doesn’t get much better🌊

🎣 Like father, like son!

Our guide Kai Finbråten had a special visitor last week when his son came to spend some time with him here on Sørøya. 😍

And it looks like they made the most of it, enjoying some fantastic father-and-son time out on the water together!

Fishing is such a great way to spend quality time with family, make memories and, hopefully, catch a few fish along the way. 🎣

As the waters around Sørøya start to cool, the halibut are moving into shallower water. 😎🎣

These two anglers certainly took full advantage, and judging by those smiles, we'd say mission accomplished! 👏

This is what a day on Sørøya looks like... 🎣

Boats on the water, rods ready, incredible surroundings and hopefully a few halibut along the way!

Sometimes it's easy to focus on catching the biggest fish, but a Big Fish Adventure is about the whole experience. Getting out on the water with your friends, exploring the incredible coastline around Sørøya and, of course, enjoying some fantastic fishing.

This happy angler certainly had a good day, finishing it off with a beautiful halibut. 👏🤩

What a fantastic day we had with this group aboard our Apex Guide Boat! 🤩🎣

August has been an incredible month here at Big Fish Adventure, with our guides out on the water pretty much every day.

This group certainly made the most of their time on the Apex Guide boat, enjoying some excellent fishing, plenty of great catches and, most importantly, lots of laughs.

For us, that's exactly what a guided day should be about, great fishing, great company and an experience you'll remember long after you leave Sørøya.

When the ferry gets cancelled... we find another way! 😮🚤

Last weekend, we received the news that the scheduled evening ferry had been cancelled.

The only problem? We had a large group of guests who needed to get back to the mainland to continue their journey home.

So, the Big Fish Adventure team jumped into action and arranged our own private transfer using our fleet of boats. 💪

Here they are travelling in convoy back to the mainland, certainly a different way to end their Big Fish Adventure!

Things don't always go to plan when you're travelling, but we'll always do everything we can to look after our guests and find a solution.

What a fantastic weekend we had with l and his group! 😍

The weather was on our side, the atmosphere was brilliant, and our whole team had an amazing time looking after all 35 of you.

And we're very glad we managed to get everyone home... but more on that later! 🚤😂
