After 25 years in the sportscar business and still an enthusiast, Hans Sorensen has worked with some of the biggest names in the business in America, Canada and England. Drawing experiences from all of these to offer todays customers quality advice and help wether it is buying, selling or fixing their cars. ther makes. Our main goal is too pass on our knowledge to our customers so they can enjoy their cars and experience them as they were meant to be driven. For most people cars are a hobby. A hobby is for fun and enjoyment. When sportscars older or newer have faults, there is no joy to owning a sportscar. We are determined to pass on our knowledge so that our existing customers aswell as new customers can fullfill their dreams of owning the sportscar of their choice and experience the full potential of their chosen car. There is no greater joy than seeing a customer with a smile enjoying their car. Work experience from the past 25 years has involved many different aspects of the sportscar business. Everything from a small service to restorations to racecars. Sorensen has been fortunate to work with a wide variety of cars through his career. Ferrari as early as 49 to present, carried out extensive engine and restoration work on several Lancia Stratos, numerous Maseratis from the 60`s to present. Alfa Romeo of older and newer make. A variety of English sportscars and Porsche. On this team is Kjersti Groseth, long time car and offroad enthusiast. Kjersti will take parts orders for those wishing to buy parts and assist customers with any other inquieries they may have. Our main goal is focused on customer service and are always willing to go that extra mile to please our customers. Highlites of his career. ? Driving a Ferrari 250 GTO onto the green at Pebble Beach in 1994, the most famous annual car meet in the world. Restoring the ex Frank Sinatra Miura. Showing the world that a car of such historical importance can be restored to its original glory in Norway. More importanly seeing the emotions and receiving praise of Lamborghini legend Valentino Balboni when he saw this Miura visiting Norway. And of course 2013 Concorso d'Eleganza winner "BEST of SHOW" winner 50th anniversary Laborghini Event, Bologna, Italy, with the Sinatra Miura.

2025 will be the 35th anniv of the 308 GT4 racing for the first time...
2025 will be the 45th anniv of the 308 GTB getting its first gen Koenig parts fitted...

WHY do we check everything on these wonderful classic Italian cars..... 🙄
If a car rolls into our workshop, it then becomes our responsibilty, regardless if its in for a quick look or for work. Some say we do to much, we dont give a s**t what you think. We are here to look after these cars so the owners can enjoy their full potential.
Thankfully we checked everything on a car recently visiting, just a few km after going through its biannual EU safety checks. This was not what we expected to find.....
Rear wheels flopping all over the place, completely destroyed rear wheel bearings, both sides. This is not the first time we have seen serious flaws on cars recently passing their safety checks..
To all our local friends (Norway), do better performing your checks. One day is going to end really bad for an owner if cars are left properly unchecked.....
We have seen the carnage that can happen when these fail, its not pretty...
Turn up the volume to hear, tell us if you think this should pass its safety check...

Finally... its alive! 😁
Recreating a '70's "fun machine" with 70's ideas can be a challenge, the kind of challenge we enjoy. Now for some fine tuning to get the most out this project.
Got some 44 Webers on this engine (originals are 40), carbs so rare even our friends at Weber struggled to id them by the numbers stamped on them.... 😉

Progressing nicely, frame getting close for paint, most of the exterior body ready for final assy, now for the nightmare job restoring ALL the original fiberglass pieces.... and there is alot of fiberglass on these.
What to do... find a gentleman that has been working with fiberglass longer than this car is old, 45+ yrs. The perfect guy whom understands and respects originality, understands original structure and finish of fiberglass made 40+yrs ago. The final piece of this puzzle to ensure a perfect end result. After all, only 50 of this model produced.😊

That time of year, gotta get the trailer out, these 6 months of the year are wet, cold and salty.... 🙄
After 2 days to and from Oslo, the van and trailer look a mess, were clean on wednesday. And that is why an enclosed trailer is a must in this part of the world, precious cargo....

Patience is rare these days.... understanding that we do NOT leave unattended issues be without being addressed sufficiently.
Getting close to a finish on this early 74 model Ferrari, very first production year of V8 model cars. It should not only look right, its gotta work right to.
Got some non original creative electrics to restore before we give it the thumbs up...

We rarely share pictures from other sites, but this is too good not to share.... 😊
This could have been 40+ yrs ago, but in fact it is only 3-4 weeks ago at the annual Modena Cento Ore rally in Italy. A total of 6 Ferrari 308 GTB's were entered this year showing strong interest from serious driving enthusiasts. Whilst they are all not exact spec as the originals from back in the day, it is heart warming to see the make and model strongly represented and popular.
As a potential client said not long ago : "this must be the cheapest entry level Ferrari in well known events around the world"..... he would be right! 😁

No time for that this year, but we do think back to "crazy stuff" we do to celebrate our love for wonderful Italian classics... 9 years ago already, time flies.... 😊

It is always sad when a fellow classic Ferrari enthusiast driver sells their car, now for sale here in Norway.
It has been an honor helping the owner of this lovely early 1977 308 Euro drysump car to mechanically restore and enhance that magic feel for the ultimate ride on the fantastic roads we have here in the north.
It has been all the way south back to the homeland in italy, it has been to the farthest northern point in Norway and all over europe in recent years. Proof that a well sorted classic Ferrari can be used and enjoyed in modern times....
Some lucky buyer is going to get a fun car to enjoy on the roads... 😊

Remembering a fantastic summer in 2004, 20 yrs ago..... 😊
This would be the first of 7 Lamborghini Countach we consulted on purchased and imported to Norway through the years. Offered for sale at Straight Eight Automobiles in west London from a collector in Belgium. Back in the days when these wonderful cars were trading at give away prices. Having worked in England and knowing the market a little, that was the last place we expected to see such a great car offered for sale. Which also means we were right, they did not want to keep it in stock, a great deal at reduced price was struck, yet another deal on a car promoted incorrectly and at the wrong shop for sale. It also turned out it had been there for sale for 6 months.....
A wonderful week that was, not to mention driving this car (and another) in the UK and back to Norway, a story for another time!
