Evam Classic, our story
Classic and vintage VW s are in Etienne ‘s blood, his parents ran a dealership/ repair shop Evam since 1972. And Etienne s first started driving Beetles aged just 12!
His dad used to make regular trips to the USA to source cars and parts and had a sideline rally Beetles. Naturally Etienne grew up to work in the business and after time serving his apprenticeship in a body shop, he went up to work for Audi.
When his father sold up in 1999 Etienne did not want to take on a large garage business, preferring instead to develop his hobby of breaking VW’s and selling second-hand-parts.
Continuing the family tradition, Evam Classic was set up in 2001. At first operated from the family Farmhouse, but in 2010 moved to new premises in Woerden. The signs on the wall are from his dad’s original Evam garage as a link with the past.
