After years working as a taxi driver, Aartje decided it was time for a change. She liked working with passengers, but the irregular hours and working on holidays became too much. Even though she had doubts about her age, she took the step and found a new job at Car Lock Systems where she feels nice.

At first she was unsure, but it turned out to be the right choice; a warm welcome, clear guidance and the structure she had been missing. She has been working here for 2.5 years and is happy with her job.

Her message: take that step, no matter your age.

Na jaren in de taxibranche besloot Aartje dat het tijd was voor verandering. Hoewel ze genoot van het contact met de verschillende passagiers, begonnen de onregelmatige werktijden en werken tijdens feestdagen steeds zwaarder te wegen. Ondanks twijfels over haar leeftijd zette ze toch de stap en vond ze bij Car Lock Systems een nieuwe werkplek waar ze zich helemaal op haar plek voelt.

Wat begon met onzekerheid, bleek een schot in de roos: een warm welkom, duidelijke begeleiding en weer de regelmaat die ze zocht. Inmiddels werkt Aartje er al 2,5 jaar met veel plezier en kijkt ze positief naar de toekomst.

Haar boodschap is duidelijk: durf die stap te zetten, ongeacht je leeftijd.

On June 3rd and 4th, we were present for the first time on behalf of Car Lock Systems UK Ltd. at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event in Birmingham.

We want to thank everyone who visited our stand. It was great meeting so many people who took the time to talk with us. We spoke with a wide range of professionals.

We also want to thank the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event team for organizing such an excellent event.

We are already looking forward to the next edition.

3 en 4 juni waren wij voor het eerst aanwezig namens Car Lock Systems UK Ltd. op de UK Garage & Bodyshop Event in Birmingham.

We willen iedereen bedanken die onze stand heeft bezocht. Het was geweldig om zoveel leuke en betrokken mensen te ontmoeten die echt de tijd namen om met ons in gesprek te gaan. We hebben een breed scala aan professionals mogen spreken.

Daarnaast willen we ook het team van de UK Garage & Bodyshop Event bedanken voor de goede organisatie.

Wij kijken nu al uit naar de volgende editie.

𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝟯𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀
30 years ago, Henk Verhoeven had an idea. Working from the Peugeot warehouse where he was employed, he had one clear goal: “to build a reliable service that could quickly supply automotive workshops with car keys and locks.”

That plan turned out to be a great success. Today, Car Lock Systems is the largest European specialist in its field, supplying around 35,000 different garages in more than 25 countries.

A great achievement, made possible by a fantastic team.

To mark this special milestone, we’re heading out for a team weekend getaway from June 12th to June 14th. It will be a weekend focused on teambuilding, spending time together and creating great memories.

Where are we going? That’s still a surprise!

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
• From Friday, June 12th at 12:00 PM, we will no longer be available by phone
• Orders placed after 10:30 AM on Friday, June 12th will be shipped on Monday, June 15th

30 jaar geleden had Henk Verhoeven een idee, vanuit het peugeot-magazijn waar hij werkzaam was wilde hij maar één ding, "een betrouwbare service opzetten om garagebedrijven snel te kunnen voorzien van autosleutels en sloten."

Dat plan is goed gelukt, inmiddels is Car Lock Systems de grootste Europese speler op hun vakgebied en beleveren we in meer dan 25 landen, zo'n 35.000 verschillende garagebedrijven.

Een top prestatie, die we met een geweldig team hebben neergezet.

Om dit samen te vieren, gaan we met het hele team een weekend weg van 12 t/m 14 juni. Een weekend waarin teambuilding, samenzijn en het maken van mooie herinneringen centraal staat.

Waar we heen gaan? Dat is nog een verassing!

Ria Pellikaan has been a familiar face at Car Lock Systems for 18.5 years, but her connection with the company started long before that. When Ria, then working for another company, delivered parcels to Car Lock Systems in Sleeuwijk almost daily, she immediately noticed the warm and welcoming atmosphere. So when a vacancy finally appeared, she didn’t hesitate to apply

Since then, she has grown into the role of Logistics Team Leader and the company still feels like a place where she can truly be herself. Her next goal: reaching the 25‑year milestone.

Ria Pellikaan werkt inmiddels 18,5 jaar bij Car Lock Systems, maar haar band met het bedrijf begon al veel eerder. Het begon allemaal twintig jaar geleden. Toen Ria als medewerker elders bijna dagelijks pakketjes afleverde bij Car Lock Systems in Sleeuwijk, voelde ze meteen de warmte en betrokkenheid op de werkvloer. Toen er eindelijk een functie vrijkwam, greep ze haar kans.

Inmiddels is ze doorgegroeid tot Teamleider Logistiek en voelt het bedrijf nog steeds als een plek waar je jezelf kunt zijn. Haar volgende doel: de 25 jaar aantikken.

Imagine this: you’re on your way to Italy to deliver a Jeep Cherokee, when suddenly your bag is stolen with all the car keys inside. That’s exactly what happened to Bas Donders. What followed was a technically challenging all‑keys‑lost situation in which speed, expertise and teamwork made all the difference.

We are closed on 5, 14 and 25 May 2026 due to Dutch public holidays. On these days, it will still be possible to place orders online and these will be shipped the next day.

On May 14 and 25, no operators will be available, which means regular programming services cannot be carried out. However, services offered through automated functions will remain available.

We zijn gesloten op 5, 14 en 25 mei. Op deze dagen is het wel mogelijk om online orders te plaatsen. deze worden de eerstvolgende werkdag verzonden.
