The Jaguar XJ LWB, production name X358. Priced new around €140,000 in The Netherlands, expectations were rightly high. Ventilated and heated front seats. Adaptive cruise control. Two individual rear seats where you would normally find a bench, naturally electrically adjustable. Multimedia screens in the headrests. Even the sound system can be controlled from the rear.

It sits on an original set of 19-inch Jaguar Polaris alloy wheels, factory-correct for this model, fitted with four recent Michelin tyres.

Jaguar XJ X351 - Another lovely detail is the beautifully executed clock, sitting proudly at the centre of the dashboard. In the evening, it is illuminated with quiet elegance, just like so many other elements throughout the cabin.
