Pinlock® Pointers // #03 Adjust your pins

A tiny adjustment can make a big difference.

As you ride your Pinlock® lens absorbs and releases moisture. Over time, the lens can change in size as it takes in and releases those water molecules.

Therefore the lens may gradually lose its tension, and remember:
No tension, no seal.

The pins are eccentric and can be turned to restore tension and properly seal the lens again.
⚠️ Be careful not to over-tighten. Too much tension can cause Newton rings (oily rings) to appear in the lens.

A small adjustment is usually all it takes to keep your vision crystal clear.
