I picked up the bare bodyshell today. Fortunately, there were no traffic jams and no rain, so the shell could be moved indoors to stay dry. For the time being, it serves as a demo piece to show enthusiasts what the critical areas of a 914 look like and where they are located.
Naturally, this bare shell is also for sale for €1,500 (collection only).

🍀 Today, I purchased another 1973 Porsche 914 1.7, intended for either resale or parts. Why potentially for parts? Because it is a project car. The floor pan has been welded, but it requires a great deal of further attention. It is a former German 914 that has undergone extensive refurbishment in the past—as shown in the photos.
The engine and gearbox were overhauled relatively recently. Located in the Netherlands. Price available only upon on-site inspection.

I hope to find someone who dares to take on this project involving so many new parts.

❤️ During the first test drive after getting my 914 back from our specialist workshop, VW Airhouse, I drove with a friend to visit his mother. It was heartwarming to see how fascinated this 81-year-old lady was by the classic car; it looked almost as if she were petting the 914. … It is so wonderful to see how much joy you can bring someone just by showing them a beautiful, 53-year-old car.
