Alfa Romeo 2000 Touring Spider (1959)
Early production model ( #153), with Alfa Romeo Heritage Certificate. A running project with much already completed — offered at a low price.
Non-matching 2300cc engine, runs and drives , gives great torque with its 2300 CC
Gearbox shifts smoothly without grinding, clutch works without issues
Original ventilated drum brakes, completely renewed, needs final adjustment after driving
New brake and fuel lines, new clutch and master brake cylinder
Burmann steering box previously rebuilt
No/minor rust. Underneath total rust free
Fresh respray all round
All functional electric
New convertible top and interior (seats still need to be upholstered)

As the successor to the 1900 model from Alfa Romeo, the 2000 series was presented for the first time at the Turin Motor Show in 1957. It initially consisted of two models of the four-door "Berlina" and the two-door convertible designed by Felice Bianchi Anderloni and manufactured by the Italian Carrozzeria Touring. Two overhead camshafts, double carburettors, a modern chassis and 5-speed gearbox were the components that enraptured the experts of his time. The fascinating classic design is still unsurpassed in terms of aesthetics and harmony and is rightly considered one of the most beautiful convertibles ever built. Apparently only 3,445 units of this Italian icon were made in total.
Gorgeous sheet metal dress for this perfectly shaped convertible. The chassis is designed more for comfort than for unconditional sportiness. Even tall pilots can easily get in and sit on the wide and comfortable seats. The beautiful round instruments, of which the two larger ones in the middle show speed and engine speed and the smaller ones
