Four nozzles. A new machine. A first look at what’s next for FTR.VECTOR. 👀

gave me the opportunity to get hands-on with an early K3—and it’s going straight to work on my next custom Ducati build. Perfect for quick prototyping!

From unboxing and setup to watching the KliTek™ system automatically switch between four independent nozzles for the first time. Fascinating to see in action 🔥!

The first project? An early design prototype of a custom front brake cooling air duct, intended to become part of FTR.VECTOR’s custom front fender.

I printed a grey version to check the fit around the front fork and brakes, plus a multicolor version to try out the KliTek system. From CAD to printing to seeing the first physical prototype mounted on the bike.

For now, only the brake ducts are designed. This is the first step towards developing the complete fender—and a sneak peek at the direction FTR.VECTOR is taking.

TWENTY MINUTES A DAY.

A new feature about Futuri Motion Tech and the Ducati Desmoto just went live on American Moto Co. / AmericanMotoCo

Zach and I talked about much more than just the finished bike — the thought process behind my builds, designing and prototyping parts, learning new skills, making mistakes, and the thousands of small steps that eventually turn an idea into something real.

One thing we talked about was my “twenty minutes a day” approach.

Even when I don’t really feel like working on a project, I try to spend at least twenty minutes doing something. Sometimes those twenty minutes turn into hours. Sometimes whatever I make ends up straight in the bin. But either way, the project moves forward.

Do that often enough and, in the case of the Desmoto, apparently you end up spending 5½ years and 2,000+ hours building a motorcycle. 😂

Really cool to see the story behind the bike — and the way I work — captured from someone else’s perspective.

The kit replaces the original turn signal internals with custom-designed circuit boards featuring extremely bright white LED daytime running lights, while retaining the iconic original Hypermotard handguards.

The goal when I designed these was simple: give the Hypermotard a much more modern front-end appearance while making the conversion look like it could have come straight from the Ducati factory.

When you activate a turn signal, the white DRL on that side automatically switches off, allowing the indicator function to take over.

I’m back 🔥 Ducati FTR.VECTOR progress from the last two weeks.

About 1/3 of the exhaust is done—and yes, I fell into the trap of building another complete pie-cut exhaust 😅

A ridiculous amount of work, but it gives you the freedom to create angles and curves that would otherwise be nearly impossible. Whether you love or hate the pie-cut look, there’s no denying the freedom it gives you when fabricating a completely custom exhaust.

The inspiration wasn’t really flowing for the last few months, but lately the ideas have started coming back. Glad to be in the workshop again, just building cool bikes—or at least bikes that I think are cool.

No promises of regular updates. I’ll share when there’s something worth sharing.

This project has pushed me further than I ever imagined and has become everything I hoped it would be. From the first sketch to the first ride, every single detail was designed with one goal in mind: to build my vision of the ultimate road-focused Ducati Supermotard.

It’s been an incredible journey, and I honestly can’t thank everyone enough who has followed, supported and encouraged me along the way.

This project has been an incredible journey and without doubt the most ambitious motorcycle I've ever built. I'm proud of what it has become, and I hope it finds a new owner who appreciates every detail that went into creating it.
