Mark Nowak, speaking after the sentencing for the murder of his beloved 18-year-old son Henry, poured out a pain so deep and raw it touches every heart that hears it. His voice, steady yet shattered, spoke not only of a kind, thoughtful young man whose life was stolen too soon, but of a father’s love that refuses to be broken.

With tears that no parent should ever have to shed, he faced the world with dignity, calling for justice while pleading that his son’s death not fuel hatred or division. His words are a powerful, heartbreaking reminder of what true strength looks like in the face of evil.

No parent should ever have to bury their child. No family should endure this kind of agony.

Such a thing must never be allowed to happen again.
