There is nothing quite like spending the weekend surrounded by incredible friends and sharing our ultimate passion for classic automobiles. But the absolute crown on this weekend? 👑
We are deeply honored and thrilled to announce that our 1935 Lancia Astura Roadster took home the ultimate prize: Best of Show! 🏆 On top of that, we are incredibly proud to have won Best in Class with our Alfa Romeo 6C “Trossi”, receiving the prestigious Registro Carrozzeria Touring prize. 🇮🇹✨
A heartfelt thank you to the esteemed jury for this incredible recognition, and of course, a massive thank you to all the automotive lovers and enthusiasts who visited us and shared their appreciation. This win is for all of you! 🥂

Easy to understand why the Jaguar C-Type is so popular at Goodwood. Probably the first car co-developed by a true aerodynamicist (Malcolm Sayer), it went from idea to winning Le Mans (1951) in only 7 months. Later models pioneered disc brakes and won Le Mans for a second time (and almost the Mille Miglia with Sterling Moss). And it was British. Nowhere will you see more of these special cars than at Goodwood. From left to right:

XKC-044 in the colors of Finland. Found by a good friend of ours in New Zealand who traveled there on a whim. The whim paid off as the car turned out to be one of the most original C-Types around. Now meticulously restored, including its history, she is the benchmark for others and keeps winning prices all over the world. Also it is the only one with a two tone color scheme.

Next to it, XKC 006. A very early production car (the first three were all dismantled) XKC 006 wears the distinct Ecurie Ecosse colours as the team’s first car. The very talented Ian Stewart drove it to many victories, including here at Goodwood. 006 was also raced by Dutchman Hans Davids who won both at Zandvoort and Spa Francorchamps in 1954.

And finally XKC 021 which has an extensive race history in the UK. The basically very original car was later fitted with disc brakes from an XKC-150. The car is still very frequently used as a regular driver The very special owner very much has the mentality of “throwing some spanners in the car, drive to the track and go racing, and then drive her back home”. If there ever was a price for the right mentality, this would win in our books.

Only a handful of these Italian racing machines were ever built by Pininfarina to conquer iconic endurance races like the Mille Miglia and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Seeing it today—with its deep blue paint, contrasting white racing stripe, and that historic Turin (TO) license plate—is like stepping straight into a time machine.There is no better place to spot a gem like this than at Goodwood Revival. Surrounded by timeless style, vintage fashion, and fellow purists, it sits perfectly in its natural habitat. This isn’t just a car—it’s moving art. ✨🏁What do you think?
