The core of our expertise lies in the following fields; Yacht- and Shipbuilding, IT and Ship Electrics. It’s Lotronics ability to integrate these disciplines that makes us a unique partner that can offer the best solutions ranging from all ship systems between the top of the mast and the bulb of the keel.

Our work covers the complete process, from engineering, systems testing, installing and commissioning. Doing the engineering and systems testing up front results in a much more efficient installation process and a well thought trough system. Also, all our systems and installations are built under class such as Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas, CCS, etc.

Our expertise can be utilized both on refit and new built projects. Whether we work for a private customer (yacht owner) or a shipyard. If necessary and/or required, we employ subcontractors from our selected partners and do project management to alleviate the client’s workload.

While its wonderful being a yacht owner while possibly even enjoying a yachting lifestyle, one of the biggest annoyances remains the seemingly continuous maintenance of a yacht. Not only costly, but also a source of headaches.

The Lotronics Yard

The Lotronics office and shipyard is centrally located in The Netherlands along the A6 highway in the town of Lemmer where an active yachting culture thrives. Not only is The Netherlands the number one country regarding yacht builders, also the province of Friesland is renowned for its high concentration of top quality yacht builders.

Our site is conveniently located with its 56 meter docks right at the IJsselmeer for direct access by ship for docking and / or hauling out. Our halls provide ample space for several large yachts with its 8 meter high and 2.000 m2 interior space. Additionally there is an 800 m2 open court.

Inside the halls there are several facilities such as the 4 tonne lifting cranes, 140Kva heavy duty power supply, water, heating, etc. Excellent for ship building, both new built as well as refit projects but also general maintenance, repair and winterizing and storage.

These facilities enable us to do new built, refit, servicing, maintenance and Repair as well as winterizing storage.

Bordering the yard, we hold our offices where management , engineering and the commercial department takes place as well as warehousing and testing facilities where ship systems are being assembled, programmed and testing before the onboard installation.

Besides our site in Lemmer where our office and yard are located, we work all around the world, from the Carieb, China and Europe, in particular the Med and Balearics.
