📣⭕️ FOR SALE: 2012 Toyota GT86 High-Type, Silver - 86,000km⭕️📣

A clean and original GT86, still fully standard and equipped with the 6-speed manual gearbox.
This car received a completely new engine, built in-house, using brand-new OEM parts throughout. The engine has less than 50km on it and the car has only been used for test drives since the build.

The rebuild was carried out because of the known GT86/BRZ sealant issue, where excess sealant can block the oil pickup strainer and cause oil pressure problems. On this car, that has been taken care of👌🏼.

A nice, clean GT86 for someone looking for an original example with the main known issue already addressed😜.

⚙️CBS Racing V160 Exchange Program⚙️

A worn V160 usually means the car is off the road while the gearbox is removed, sent away for rebuild, and waiting to return — a process that can easily take months.

To avoid that downtime, we offer an exchange solution using one of our refurbished V160 units, ready to install straight away😌.
That means your original gearbox can be sent for rebuild while the car remains complete and driveable again much sooner.

A practical solution for owners who want to deal with gearbox issues without leaving the car parked for months.

- In this case, the exchange was combined with a clutch upgrade and some additional work to complete the setup.

Another Supra in the workshop, this time for a gearbox and clutch upgrade⚙️💥.

First, the tunnel area was redone and corrected where needed after earlier work carried out elsewhere.. Then finished with paint and coating to bring the automatic-to-manual conversion closer to a cleaner, more OEM-style finish.

With higher horsepower plans for the future, it was also the right moment to install an RPS Twin Disc Carbon clutch - a stronger setup, while also giving the car a much smoother driving feel👌🏼.

To finish it off, the existing V160 with worn synchros was replaced with one of our refurbished V160 units (part of our V160 exchange program, helping avoid long downtime while the original gearbox is being rebuilt😉)

The job was completed with a general maintenance service.

Better late than never… the CBS Racing Summer BBQ 2025 aftermovie is here😎☀️.

Back in June, we hosted a special edition of our Summer BBQ, as it was the first one at our new location.
Maybe a bit more calm than usual😜... but still a great day with cool cars, food, drinks, and good people all around.

A big thanks again to everybody who came by and spent the day with us.
Seeing both familiar faces and new ones, all the cars, and everyone enjoying the day together is what makes this event worth doing every time!

CBS Racing is not just 2JZs and Supras.

For years now, we’ve also been working on the engines for this Hilux rally car for a good customer and friend of ours.
He competes in several events and regularly heads out to Portugal for races, with Baja TT Montes Alentejanos 2026 being one of the latest.

Over time, we’ve rebuilt more than 6 engines for this project - from 2UR-FSE to now also 2UR-GSE✨.

That’s how rally goes. After a race, the engine comes back to us, we go through it, fix what needs fixing, and get it ready for the next one💪🏼.

Another Toyota Soarer through the workshop👀
This one came in for a proper refresh: upgrade the setup and take care of the essentials.

Step 1️⃣: Exhaust
First job was the exhaust. We fitted an HKS Racing Muffler system (MK4 Supra) and did the required modifications to make it fit the Soarer.
Since the HKS system comes with its own distinctive finish, we also painted the exhaust to match the look we wanted on this car. To finish it off, we did a clean tip for a more polished look, as per the customer’s preference✨.

Step 2️⃣: ECU check / preventive maintenance
Next up was reliability: we carried out an ECU repair/check + preventive maintenance, and followed up by checking how the car behaved afterwards.

Step 3️⃣: Service + preventative maintenance
With the Soarer in the workshop, we also took care of the main maintenance items and checks:
▪️ Oil + OEM Toyota filter
▪️ NGK spark plugs
▪️ Timing belt service (belt/tensioner/idler)
▪️ New OEM water pump
▪️ Fan + shrouds
▪️ General inspection of wiring/connectors where needed

Step 4️⃣: Full custom CBS intercooler kit✨.
We also built and fitted a full custom CBS intercooler kit. It runs a 2.5” hot side and a 3” cold side, fabricated in-house and mounted on custom brackets made for this kit.

✅Job completed, Soarer back with the owner.
