Building a nice street 340 la smallblock

It came in running rough and upon tear down we found bearing damage, journal damage, broken piston rings and more issues. Heads were questionable, burned and sunken seats, loose guides etc.

The heads got new oilite guides, valves, seats, a skim cut.
The shortblock has everything new also, forged pistons (the correct 340 compression height) rods were checked and cleaned up, weight matched.
The forged crank was cut down and spin balanced with the damper and flex plate matching the reciprocating weight. All pistons matched also.
New bearings, plugs etc.

A nice little old school isky cam will complete the package.
