KCPerformance was founded by Pieter Hermans and Kazimir van Hooijdonk, two gentlemen with a passion to tune and improve everything that rolls. Despite the possibilities of the current technology, there were no solutions available that met their needs, so the simple conclusion was to start doing things themselves, not just do, do better! Optimizing engine performance has always been our main goal,

not just an increase in power, but also a good usability of the power at hand. Improving the brakes and handling are always a key part of our customizations. We hebben deze Porsche 911 Turbo S voorzien van een stage 1 software upgrade voor zowel de motor als de versnellingsbak.
Het resultaat? Niet alleen meer pk’s en flink meer koppel, maar ook een auto die merkbaar soepeler en strakker schakelt. 🚗💨

Bij normaal gebruik kan het brandstofverbruik zelfs dalen, omdat de motor minder moeite hoeft te doen om hetzelfde vermogen te leveren als voorheen.

Resultaat:
🔹 Origineel opgegeven vermogen: 580 pk → na tuning 693 pk (+113 pk)
🔹 Origineel opgegeven koppel: 700 Nm → na tuning 924 Nm (+224 Nm)

🚘 BMW 740i E38 (1997) – Now Equipped with ZF 8HP50

Over time, the original automatic gearbox started to show its age. Instead of rebuilding yesterday’s technology, the customer decided to give his classic the upgrade it deserves.

We fitted it with a ZF 8HP50 8-speed automatic transmission ⚙️

And yes — it completely transforms the car.

🔧 What this upgrade delivers:

✔️ Lower cruising RPM
✔️ Improved fuel efficiency
✔️ Modern reliability
✔️ Effortless V8 performance

The ZF 8HP is known for its incredibly quick and intelligent shifting. It keeps the V8 right in its powerband when you want performance and calm and relaxed when you just want to cruise.

In other words:
It still feels like a 90’s executive limousine…
Just one that secretly went to the gym 💪

The integration has been carefully engineered to deliver OEM-level refinement, ensuring that the driving experience feels natural as if BMW had planned it this way all along.

Just a normal BMW… 🤥
Well… not quite.

Our wild build will be on display at the Essen Motor Show this year — from 29 November to 7 December 2025!
You can check it out at the KONI stand, proudly showcased by our friends at KONI.

This machine is pushing 400hp and 550Nm, powered by — yes — a Saab engine. It’s as crazy as it sounds.

The chassis is fully upgraded with:
🔸 F80 M3 suspension parts
🔸 M Active Differential
🔸 M3 brake setup
🔸 KONI’s newest GTS dampers
🔸 And wrapped in a full KONI livery

Wat een geweldige afsluiting van de Dutch Drivers Club tocht op 16 november! 🙌
Bedankt aan iedereen voor het langskomen en de supergezellige sfeer. Echt tof om zoveel verschillende auto’s bij ons op het terrein te zien binnenrollen! 🚗💨🔥

We hebben genoten van alle gesprekken en natuurlijk de metingen op de testbank. Altijd leuk om zoveel gepassioneerde liefhebbers over de vloer te hebben.

In this Porsche 964, we replaced the original, somewhat dated Tiptronic 4-speed transmission with a modern PDK gearbox. The result is a classic that retains its authentic character but now shifts with the speed and precision of a contemporary sports car.

The PDK delivers lightning-fast, seamless gear changes, greatly enhancing driving pleasure—both on the road and on the track. Every component has been carefully integrated to ensure full reliability and usability, while maintaining all original functions and electronics.

During this project, we also installed our in-house developed KCPerformance Intake System for the Porsche 964/993 – a fully CNC-machined billet aluminum intake system designed to significantly improve airflow and efficiency, resulting in a power gain of approximately 30 to 50 hp.

Since the car has now been converted to Drive-by-Wire (DBW) in combination with the PDK, it’s also possible to enable rev-matching. This allows for perfectly synchronized downshifts and an incredibly refined driving experience – exactly what you’d expect from a modern Porsche, but with the pure character of an air-cooled

Sneak peek: our Saab 9-5NG SportCombi project 🚀

The Saab 9-5NG SportCombi is rare – but to be honest, we were never fully convinced by the way Saab originally executed it. That’s why here at KCPerformance, we’ve started something special: our own interpretation of the 9-5 SportCombi.

One of the first custom touches? A completely redesigned tailgate, featuring a rear window that can be opened separately. 🔧👌 Practical, unique, and something the original version was missing.

The car is still far from finished, but we wanted to share a first look at how this unique project currently stands.

Turbocharged family fun? 🚗
This E63S came to us feeling a little... underpowered. 😴.

Our dyno test showed it was leaving some horses in the stable. 🔧 So, we swapped in some upgraded turbos – better, but not quite there. Then, we discovered a teeny-tiny chain reaction (get it? 🔗) issue that was holding it back.

New chain set, problem solved! 💥 Now it's making +40 hp over stock, on stock software! 🤯
